Ouestion about Colorado Springs gun show
 

Have not been to a show since 1985 (long time). But trying to figure out if FRN, or silver would be best to trade on a pistol as my daughter just quailfied for CC and I want to purchase a new compact for her. I only ask because I feel heavy in silver if that's possible. If your a dealer at the show let me know your table # and we will stop by on Sat. Thx

I have sold silver at gunshows, but almost never to dealers, and I have never met any that were willing to trade for silver or gold.

Not that many people are even interested in silver, in my experience. And the handful that are interested seldom buy in any quantity. Usually a few one-ounce bars or rounds for themselves or their kids. They come to shows looking to buy/sell/trade FIREARMS.

Sell the silver (wherever) and pay for the pistol with cash.

Just went to the Tanner Show here in Denver last weekend.
